Look at the feet (and only at the feet!) in this typical Chinese pornographic image--slightly modified to accommodate contemporary prudery. Classical Chinese erotic images left very little to the imagination, except, of course, the feet. Women's feet were almost always prominently featured in such images, though always enclosed in shoes (often red). Perhaps it was better to imagine the feet within instead of actually seeing the real thing.
