
Shoes to enhance the visual effect of smallness. At right is a northern-style boot with an inner heel. Placed inside the shoe, the inner heel lifts the foot to produce the visual impression of smallness. The pointed toe and slender sole contribute as well.
Below is a pair of Taiwan-style shoes. Though they employ a different design, they accomplish approximately the same thing as the northern boot plus inner heel.
