Practitioners of "womb breathing." The basic theory was that humans are born with a quantity of qi which is of the same quality as the fundamental qi underlying the process of transformation of the cosmos. In the human body is is called "inner qi." This special qi is the basis of life, and when it is gone, we die. Unfortunately, this qi leaks out of our mouth and nose little-by-little as soon as we are born. By controlling the breath in precise ways, it is possible to simulate the state of a baby in the womb. By doing so, not only is the leakage of inner qi stopped, at least for a while, but the inner qi still in the body is forced to flow more vigorously, this enriching all parts of the body. The process and techniques for womb breathing are complex.
